The highly acclaimed Aberlour Distillery Tour has just picked up the first-ever “Drammy” award in its category. At the first annual The Scotch Blog “Drammies”, the Aberlour Distillery Experience was voted “Best Distillery Tour”.
The Scotch Blog is the inspired creation of New Yorker Kevin Erskine. A popular online news and commentary website, it keeps its many readers from around the world informed about all aspects of the Scotch whisky industry.
The award won’t come as a surprise to those who have been on the fascinating in-depth Aberlour tour, which culminates in a lively tasting session involving several of the award-winning Aberlour expressions.
The “Drammy” comes hot on the heels of the “5-Star” status awarded to the distillery by VisitScotland, ranking it as a world-class visitor attraction. Just like Aberlour Single Malt itself.
But, nice as it is to win awards, what pleases us most is what you have to say about the Aberlour Distillery Experience.
So read on . . .
I visited the distillery in Sep 05 --- quality of tour was outstanding: bought a bottle of a'bunadh which is superb: I shall soon need to replenish this supply! We always have your ten-year-old malt on the shelf. We've enjoyed holidays in Aberlour (my wife & I) for many years: distillery tours we greatly enjoy --- Aberlour gains alpha+

Visited Aberlour a couple weeks ago on vacation. We had the privilege of doing a tour and tasting. Dennis was a most excellent host. Thank you!

Visited for my 40th birthday in June last year - the best tour and tasting of all distilleries visited. Having managed about 20 in the last few years, it was extra special to be able fill a bottle by hand on my birthday. Thanks for making it such a memorable day.

The very best whisky tasting tour bar none. Such attention to detail and a wonderfully entertaining
host made this experience one not to be missed. Well done!

I live about 15 miles from the distillery and have a bottle each of the Bourbon and Sherry Cask whisky. You can only, I repeat only, get these if you go on the tour.

Our visit to Aberlour last fall was one of the highlights of our trip to Scotland. Truly one of the jewels of Speyside. a'bunadh has become one of my preferred malts.
